The Death of Death

For many, many, many years
Death was our strongest foe.
It caused so many, many fears,
Not knowing where we'd go!

But God in His sweet, loving Way
Had miracles to give
When Jesus came to Earth one day
To show God's Way to live.

He taught us how to live on Earth
And how He does provide
Forgiveness when He showed our worth
When Christ was Crucified!

The death of each of us will come,
But we don't have to fear
Because our afterlife comes from
God when our faith adheres!
