The Gentile World Guilt
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
The wrath of God has been revealed,
From Heaven against all ungodliness;
As they keep their feelings concealed,
Subdues their true unrighteousness.
What can be known of God is plain,
Since God has shown it unto them;
Invisible attributes reign,
Divine power that will condemn.
Divine nature clearly perceived,
Since the creation of this world;
Through your faith, that one has believed,
As the plan of God is unfurled.
For in the things that have been made,
They do not have any excuse;
For the reasons they disobeyed,
Allowing this world to seduce.
Even though they had known the Lord,
They refused to honor and laud;
Foolish hearts constantly ignored,
Considered not the one true God.
They claimed to be wise but were fools,
Made their glory of mortal man;
And has made its own set of rules,
Directs with no definite plan.
