House of Prayer
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
The foreigners who join the Lord,
To minister and love His name;
Keeps the Sabbath as to afford,
Holds His covenant to proclaim.
He brings to the holy mountain,
Makes joyful in His house of prayer;
Quench their thirst in the sacred fountain,
Sacrificed offering to share.
Sacrifice offered on the altar,
Worshipping in His house of prayer;
Psalms being sung from a psalter,
Showing how sincere they do care.
The Lord God gathers the outcast,
He will gather others to Him;
Love and pity to ever last,
Salvation for spiritual vim.
