The Tree

The Tree
How much they observe just standing there watching.
Unchanged, towering, majestic in their own right.
No bias. no judgement, they keep all secrets and desires soaked up in their branches.

How they have kept us upright, unwavering support that never fails.
A silent confidant waiting to step in.
No words necessary just a robust stillness to calm the chatter.
The comfort is tangible never ending.

It becomes a companion absorbing all thoughts and dreams.
It keeps us breathing through all times, gives us strength we never knew we had.
It looks for no praise, no reward, just a reminder of how special a friend can be.
