Two Escalators

One boy went up who was named Jimmy.
One boy went down named Dave.
They both were tall and skinny,
And usually behaved.

Each chose another way to find
The treasure kids hope for,
But neither cared they left behind
Their friend next to a store.

Each had a plan to reach their goal
Without their friend in sight,
Yet they got nothing but a stroll
As day turned into night.

They reunited at the space
That let the weary rest,
And left not seeing near that place,
A store with "treasure chests".
