Life

Today it is here it is real
but once it's here it's gone
tic toc my grandfather clock
goes bong, the seconds they pass to minutes alas then hours and days and years, all that remains is
memories gained of those seconds
holding our fears.
Today it is here use it wise for tomorrow it shall be gone nevermore to be seen.
Some fright so of the morro
to come they forget to live the day,
Tic toc no, don't let it all pass away.
