Twas the week before Christmas

Twas the week before Christmas
And in the office I sit
Worrying about the economy
And all this bank closing sh*t

I go to my bank website
To take a look at my stash
Only to be annoyed
Cuz there is no Christmas cash.

The market is down
And all the talk about bail outs
Makes me wonder
If even Santa will make his routes.

WAMU has gone down
And Wachovia follows in tow
Making this very unmerry Christmas
Not so very ho ho ho.

But not to worry,
We’ve nothing to fear
Out with the old
A new prez will be here

Barrack Obama comes in
And he gets right down to business
Making his Cabinet list
Like old Mr.Christmas

The promise of change
Yes we shall all see
What the prez will have
In the future for both you and me.

And as I recall
The last painful eight years.
I realize this now
Bush is how we got here.
