Tied to the Strings

The strings tug as I move
All I am is a puppet for you
Painted my face, do you approve?
I’m stuck in this image, I’m covered in glue
It’s not who I am yet I take great pleasure
In being a girl, I’m now your greatest treasure.
My insides are now shallow, yet you always knew
This is not who I am, this is only what you view
