Bash

I leave the bed unset,
the dishes full of grime,
carpet full of old fleas.
My cup empty of tea.
The toilet bent to breaking point.
Floors sink beneath my feet
I wanted to be outside
But I starve the garden birds
And all the flowers
have long since died
My wardrobe has withered
And sagged into my skin.
The food took over
Black bags pile within
I wish a new wish now
But it's hard to fit it in
