If You Should Prosper
Edwin Tanguma 1966 (CA)
If You Should Prosper
As I sit her killing time
Thinking up a simple rhyme
To let you know how I feel
With this love I know its real
‘Tis there within words we write
Through these long and lonely nites
I think of you with lead in hand
Longing to buy you a wedding band
If I could give one unto you
Would you feel that our love is true
And could we live a happy life
Should we become husband and wife
With all of our cats
We could build a house
Without any walls
Or that lazy louse
Would it be proper
If you should prosper
P.s.I’m sorry I’ve stayed away so long
Yet through the noise I hear those songs
As if they are calling unto me
Even though I am too blind to see
I am still capable of hearing
And I feel as if we are nearing

About this poem
From the dark years collection…There are not many left in said collection…Alice…And once they are thru…We’ll…I believe I have already made my intentions clear…If you continue to hide behind your masks and do not present your self as your true self…And proclaim to the world that which I have proclaimed that I feel for you…You will see a side of me that narci and her flying monkeys are just now beginning to see of me…If you do not feel the same for me…Well I guess that I too must move on with my life without you…Then again there is the possibility that me believing that I am in love with Jewel Kilcher could just be a part of my dilusions…I think I can adapt and overcome to a life without this wonderland being a part of it…How is this for pretty lies or reality???
