Lantern

With a lantern in my hand, I walk this path full of blackness in the tall cedars. You can hear the crows crowing, as the people who knocked their lanterns on the ground and sent their feet back to their dark homes.  I am not afraid of these cypresses. I will go ahead. No, don't be afraid. I am drowning in the emptiness of that cold house for all these years. I am afraid of them. I am afraid of them.  I was scared and passed safely, but I see a glimmer of hope that I will arrive safely in a city where other people will not complain about the absurdity of living, they will not sit in the corner of the grave that they have built with their own hands and throw them into the grave...
