Black History Hitman

Black History Hitman
By Robert T. Davenport
I am the Black History Hitman,
A warrior of truth, a relentless force,
Unleashing the power of our past,
To shatter the chains that bind us fast.
In the depths of my soul, a fire burns,
A flame ignited by the lessons learned,
From the struggles and triumphs of those before,
Whose spirits guide me, forevermore.
I am the embodiment of resilience,
A testament to the strength we possess,
For I carry the weight of ancestral pain,
Transforming it into a mighty hurricane.
With each step I take, I honor their fight,
Their sacrifices, their unwavering might,
I am the echo of their silenced voices,
A vessel for their stories, their choices.
I am the Black History Hitman,
A guardian of our heritage, a beacon of light,
I wield the pen as my weapon, my might,
To rewrite the narrative, to set things right.
I am the embodiment of black excellence,
A symbol of hope, a catalyst for change,
I challenge the world to see our worth,
To acknowledge our contributions, our rebirth.
Through the pages of time, I navigate,
Unearthing the hidden, the forgotten, the great,
For our history is vast, a treasure untold,
A legacy of resilience, more valuable than gold.
I am the Black History Hitman,
A warrior of knowledge, a seeker of truth,
I stand tall, unyielding, in the face of adversity,
For I am the embodiment of our collective journey.
So let the world bear witness to our might,
To the brilliance that shines, day and night,
For I am the Black History Hitman,
And I will forever fight, with all my might.
