LESSONS OF LIFE

In this world with no guidance you begin to feel lost

You make good or bad choices and your sanity could just be the cost

Everybody trying to be like the next I look in the mirror and find the boss

People wanna shop at expensive stores, but to tell the truth I’m cool with just shopping at Ross

Watch who's around you, it's the ones you call family, just pick them out like floss

If you remember that salt looks like sugar then you will remain uncrossed

If no one else will, believe in your dreams and your thoughts...

...keep a clear view and never allow them to be tossed.

Never allow people to get to close you may start to defrost.

Remember keep them at a distance, so your heart stay on frost.

About this poem

I wrote this poem in one of my depression episodes. It’s about overall feelings, that everyone has felt one time in their life. It’s audience could be young adults and teenagers.
