The dark place.

A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)

The dark place.

I go to the dark place way back in my mind. I can't find a way out, no matter how hard I try. It is a place you never want to be or see. But it always finds me in my darkest dreams. If I can find a way out and step into the light, then that would set me right. So, you see, I would like to see the birds, the bees, and all the pretty things this life can bring. So if you can help me into the light, I will be in your debt for the rest of my life. That would make me happy and nice. Chase away the dark shadows and the bad dreams. So I can see again. I want to thank you, indeed.
