Time travel

Joshua Kinsel 1984 (San Antonio, tx)

I pull a vial off the shelf, and carefully pop the top, when the liquid met the air, it bubbled like it was hot,

I grabbed a dropper, and drew four drops, and added it to my brew, the cauldron shook, anf the liquid inside, turned from pink to blue,

I stirred it once, pulled out my spoon, and gave it a long gent blow, it started to bubble, and steam with heat, and took on a shimmering glow,

I let it boil, a minute or two, and turned it down to simmer, after an hour and a half went by, I checked to see if it was thinner,

Satisfied with the consistency, I took it from the flame, after it cooled, I bottled it up, and wrote on the tag the name,

This potion warps the mind, and let's me see through time, it's got to sit, and ferment a bit, almost to the consistency of slime,

It takes six weeks,to reach it's peak, then it's ready to drink, to get the time, you want to find, you just partake and think,

The time is 1800ad, the item is brought in by sea, hidden beneath the city streets, near a large sycamore tree,

The city is one close to Boston, I'll have to fly out from Austin, tho I move through time, the space is still, and one I hope never to get lost in,

I'll need someone to watch me, my body will stay behind, my mind will travel, and try to unravel, the mystery and passage of time
