Tides awaken,
And sunsets ease,
Blanketed orange,
Mercurial breeze,
Tension relinquished,
Nature's embrace,
Soft in my hand,
Satin and lace,
A tender display,
Of quite affection,
Ephemeral encounter,
A fleeting connection,
Deference implied,
Compassionate kindness,
Assiduous spirit,
Tempered and timeless,
Departure lamented,
Eventual ache,
Preferring my dream,
Reluctantly wake.
