My Last...
jeffrey scott simpson 1972 (Kentucky)
Clouds destin to appear, my thoughts flood with fear,
rain is pushing down on my beaten shoulders,
tears dripping down my face filling with regret,
losing my courage with every breath, lighting seizes
my senses, the thunder attacks the beat of my heart, feeling of dispear captures my faith, my soul weakens,
my fate lets me dream my past, the future is to become my last stand.
About this poem
