Liquid Sunshine

And she is
liquid sunshine,
drops of honey.
     personality pouring out,
syrup thick
catching light
maybe she is light
her curves sending prism reflections
in a
perfect
arc

But I am not "she"
Sadly,
I will never be made of honey
and glitter
and melted marshmallows

I will never

          w
like liquid sun


Instead
my words fall
        over themselves

               I strike
like a bolt of lightning
my temperament the
thunder
that follows
Sadly
I will never shine
like honey gold

Instead
      I stumble
          I s-s-stutter
I burst
  and break
