Lights that dim

Lights that dim 2004 (Mississippi)

Stars are built to fall, and love is meant to fail
But to gaze upon it all, is to see beauty prevail
To lose something loved is a mountain you must climb
But for all the pain there is something you can find
For the stars may start to dim, and the love may start to fade
Life will change upon a whim, so there is value in today

About this poem

I made it poem on a whim to express how I was feeling about losing something important to me and not having the power to get it back
