The Box I Tore

So many times, I have been told
"Please leave your comfort zone.
You do not have to be real bold,
When you fight wars alone!"

Sometimes we war against our self,
Ignoring danger signs.
As if somehow, we had a shelf
With maps of all our mines!

I had much trouble climbing out
With hope to find a way
To leave this box and have no doubt
I would be free some day!

Therefore, I then began to tear
My box apart to find
Help from the ones who really care
And won't leave me behind!
