Tomorrow the Rain
Tomorrow the Rain
Again, I ran from the troublesome rain.
It has always seen to catch me.
And causing the deepest pain.
I wonder how that can be.
It has nothing to gain.
There is no medical licensee,
that can relate to this surpassing this strain.
So, I soak my thoughts in grief.
On what should be done.
On what could be done.
On what would be done.
Life decisions are burdensome.
And choices can be the clouds overhead.
They can get dark, angry and hard drops of
guilt falls down.
I used to observe the weathervane.
To avoid what I didn't want to see.
Because the trusting wind had come to no avail.
Words and actions were useless warnings.
Like on a dim lite marquee, they weren't cleared.
So tomorrow the rain will come.
Tomorrow I will soap my thoughts in grief.
Tomorrow I will soap my thoughts in the rain.
