Si te pudiera escribir una carta la cual tú pudieras leer, dejando el orgullo pasar. Sería breve para que no te doliera dejarlo entrar a tu vida y te sintieras mal por haberlo hecho, te escribiría: creo estar bien, que aquí todo está bien, mi vida comienza a ser más bella y tengo planes los cuales me emocionan, personas nuevas que he conocido y algunas que me faltan por conocer, que ya siento yo me harán bien tenerlas en mi vida. ya no me busques que yo de igual te dejaré de buscar, nos dejaremos de encontrar en nuestros sueños porque ya no estaremos en nuestros pensamientos. sé que al igual que yo, tú, hoy estás bien en donde estás, tus ojos cafés hoy son más claros gracias al brillo que hay en ellos, tu sonrisa es dulce y verdadera, no se nota tu tristeza como cuando discutíamos después de una cena. y sé que para que hoy tus ojos y tu sonrisa den esa luz tuviste que haber vivido en oscuridad, lamento haber sido yo el que apagara esa luz. Hoy que sé que estamos bien los dos te pido que descansemos nuestro cuerpo y alma en este lugar, de donde yo escribo esto y en donde tú lees esto, y si la vida algún día nos vuelve a juntar, agradecido estaré con ella por darme la oportunidad de volverte a mirar, pero si tú has conseguido tu felicidad y no necesitas más de nadie en ese momento me alejaré, entenderé que la vida solo nos juntó un instante libres para amarnos, para después separarnos y poder valorarnos y comprender que el amor verdadero y el único que necesitamos es el amor propio.
