I knew from the very first moment you showed up in my inbox that you would ruin me
I knew from the first time you said you loved me that it was only a fleeting chapter in the story of your life
I knew from the first day you left that I’d never see you again
I knew from the night I found out you are with someone else that I lost you for good
I knew from this poem that I’d miss you my whole life

About this poem

it’s almost midnight and i miss you
