Save me

Calm but strong
What am I?
When peaceful
You can play with me.
But when I’m not, you could die.
What am I?
Blue when calm,
And grey when mad,
With trash all over my long body,
What am I?
If you haven’t guessed it,
The time has come,
To tell you
I am an ocean.
Long and wide,
My plea to you
Save me from this trash,
That might overflow my shores

About this poem

I made this poem because I am a diver and always in the water. It hurts so much to see my ocean suddenly full of trash. I started volunteering to pick up all of the trash that washed up. Please do not think this is a way to try to min. I like to write and I thought "Why not might as well try"
