Free verse
do their misdeeds linger on me?
can you feel the false pinky promises when you hold my hand?
can you hear the threats when you lay with me?
can you taste the blood when you kiss me?
can you see the hatred in their eyes when you look in mine?
can you smell the alcohol on me, a habit I picked up from them?
do they linger on me?
