MEET ME AGAIN

MEET ME AGAIN

It's been quite awhile now
I shook the dust off the road
I confessed You Lord as I bow
Your Grace worked, it's showed

And the storms raged, lions roared
Before your Cross I still stand
The enemy fled when I wield the sword
I preach Your Gospel across the Land

But sometimes pride's shrapnel cuts
I humble myself before You again
I know all the excuses, why's and but's
I use to justify my flesh and sin

Lord meet me here again I pray
Meet me every moment of everyday
Lord meet me here again I say
Let my steps, be in Your Way

Lord I've fallen on some hard times
But it's not just hard for me alone
We're here counting nickels and dimes
As we bow before Your Throne

Teach us now, to seek Your face
Through tears that blind our eyes
Here I stand Jesus, by Faith and Grace
Lift your servant to the skies!

I've seen what's on that road
Jesus You alone are my rest
I'm so weary of the flesh’s load
I seek You, I seek the best

Lord meet me here again I pray
Meet me every moment of everyday
Lord meet me here again I say
Let my steps, be in Your Way

Yeah, it's been quite a while
The dust of the journey lingers
I flinch at thoughts of another trial
Watch as the devil points his fingers

I'm unworthy, Jesus loves me still
Before Your Cross, by Grace I stand
In Faith I'll humbly seek Your will
By poetry I'll preach to all the Land

You wipe the dust from my face
Saying, “welcome Home my son!”
I am saved from the fire by Grace
This song, it's nearly done

Lord meet me here again I pray
Meet me every moment of everyday
Lord meet me here again I say
Let my steps, be in Your Way
Meet me here I pray…
AMEN
