POEM OF A DYING WORLD

POEM OF A DYING WORLD

It's a crazy world, so outta whack
You hit it hard, it throws you back
Gotta run fast just to fall back down
While a fire burns the world all around
This is the madness we are hurled
This is the poem of a dying world

In smoke of war lie the ashes of dreams
Agony of loss, death's last screams
Search the sky for death's last whine
Despair, wreckage, no hope we find
This is the madness we are hurled
This is the poem of a dying world

Religions squabble, mumble and shout
But none of them know what God's about
Killing innocent, to reach out to Heaven
Darkness of the end approach the Final Seven
This is the madness we are hurled
This is the poem of a dying world

Our morality dies, such a hideous death
The church struggles for one last breath
The cries of fear, start to drag us back
Nations fall, may we find what we lack
This is the madness we are hurled
This is the poem of a dying world

We cry it's unjust, then commit the same
We cry out, as they mock Jesus' Name
And as we watch they slam into a wall
And they call out to the Savior of us all
This is the madness we are hurled
This is the poem of a dying world

The Trumpets blast, the Day appears
His Sheep flicker, and disappear!
None know the tragedy's true scope
For gone are the messengers of Hope
This is the madness we are hurled
This is the poem of a dying world

What arises from the ashes of the church?
The Enemy grabs a world's desperate search
With false words, he shouts his lies
The world listens, and shuts its eyes
This is the madness we are hurled
This is the poem of a dying world

So begins the Tribulation of the final seven
It ends as a Cry comes from Heaven
A mighty stead gallops, carrying our Lord
Jesus returns to reign, Eden restored
This is the Hope Calvary unfurled
Jesus is the Hope of a dying world!
AMEN

About this poem

I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords. Revelation 19 11-16
