FALLING STAR

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

I walk through the fire to dance the dance of all dances with the burning flame. I do not wear a government name, for I'm not from here and can never be the same as you.

Ride the Dragon Tail will tell my own tale, with a monkey riding my broken back looking for a snack in the pouring rain.

Hold hands and kiss, looking for everything and nothing that we may have missed underneath the dogwood tree. We are trying to get out of here, trying to set ourselves free.

This is you; this is me who could ask for more. Get a  jar because I just caught a falling star to wish upon
