TEAR ME A PIECE

Barry Green Jr 1973 (Florida)

TEAR ME A PIECE
Tear me a piece of Yesterday
Hang back a bit from Tomorrow
I've fallen, far more than I can say
But still I feel the Spirit flow
So today is the only day I hold
Now,time more precious than gold

I hear voice, it's singing a new song
The Lamb that was once for us Slain
The Blood that flows over every wrong
Behold He is the Lion who reign
Stand in the Word, move a mountain
Let your testimony flow like a fountain

Keep you lamps filled with oil at midnight
Watch continuously for the Bridegroom
In this present darkness it's we who are Light
Pierce the darkness, Give Christ the room
Don't be foolish, oil must be bought
Don't be left because you forgot
AMEN

About this poem

At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’ “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’ Matthew 25:6-9

Parts of Revelation 19 are null and void…For IF there is even a slight chance that Am I said bridegroom…I have chosen to remain single and there shall be no wedding guests for I have chosen not to marry my bride New Jerusalem…I haven’t a clue what any of this means GW…Go figure…
