THE SPIRIT STRIKES BACK

THE SPIRIT STRIKES BACK

Yeah your poetic messenger is back
This time I'm pressing my attack
Poor devil, you're really a fool
Taking on the King who'll always rule
But if ya're feeling froggy, better jump
God's Word is my ammo dump
Ya want some of this? You must be joking
66 rounds and my Bible be smokin'
By His Spirit I'm a lyrical animal
In His Name I'm a spiritual cannibal
I'll chew you up, and I'll spit you out
Do a Pentecostal shuffle with an Hallelujah shout!
Put God's Word right up in your face
Make you sing Amazing Grace!
Oh yeah, How sweet the sound
Once was lost but now am found!
But did ya see what He said?
That Jesus will crush your head!
On the Cross you bruised His heel
Yet He crushed your head, How'd it feel?
Wait! Do I hear a roar?
Devil you want a little more?
Okay, rat-a-tat-tat Spiritual revival
Betta believe it, it's in the Bible
We'll bind ya, blind ya, cast ya down
Under our feet as we prance around
That's no roar, ya stupid fake
Just a hiss from a tiny little snake
I saw you in Revelations and Daniel
Defeated in the Owners Manual
Satan whatcha gonna do
When Jesus judges you?
Everyone will see your little game
Cast down in Jesus name
Where you going to run devil
As mountains fall and the ground is level?
Poor little devil...so mistreated
To Hell with you devil, you're defeated
Nothing left for you to attack
The Holy Spirit just struck back!
AMEN
