Human fruit stand

We all
Are consumers of the fruit
Fleshy treats that hang in front of the boot
Different varieties to loot

There's apples, oranges and melons
Lovely sizes they are selling
There's also plums, eggplants, bananas and cucumber
And the mighty peach
Depending on the vendor
Some is for sale and some is out of reach

Some fruit is rotten
Some of it old
Some have bugs
From what I’m told

You simply have to speak to the vendor
Most times you have to be a big spender

There is plenty of fruit
To inspect
But if you look to long
The vendor might object

The world is a human grocery store
And we are nothing but a shopping whore

It’s fun to shop
For the fruit
That hangs in front of the boot

It’s all fresh
But not ready to be squeezed
Most vendors become quite displeased

I hear some fruit you can rent
But that seems a lil bent
Who wants fruit that’s already been lent?

Sometimes, if your lucky
You can get a salad full of fruit
But I hear that costs a lot of loot
Peaches are expensive!

I like fruit
Especially pies
Peach cobbler gobbler
Though I tend to slobber
With juices dripping down my chin
But after I’m done it’s a win-win

Fruit is so much fun
Watching it ripen under the sun
Nestled between two delicious buns

Now I see why bees love them flowers
They can pollenate for hours
They know the real power
Little winged slaves
Bringing the peaches
We all crave

Do you like fruit?
I think the point is moot
After all there’s 8 billion fruit stands

Let’s go shopping
