WHERE YOU ARE

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

Where do I set my feet and rest my tired head?
Words go half-spoken when they are waiting to be said, the words of truth and lies and children's sweet lullabies chasing fireflies. Where does the time go? Bless your soul; I will never know.

Close the door for another one opens with promises of something new only if we know what to do once we walk through is we will never be the same and can not go back home again for they will not know our faces, only our names

The light shines bright in my eyes, telling me somewhere is everywhere. If you look at the image just right, the sounds that I hear when I'm asleep are telling me that I'm on the right trail I just need to go deeper

Wherever I was or where I may be is no longer the same. Only the time and subtitles have changed
