Fly swatter

I fell into the enemies trap

Wrong advice I knew was given
And yet I still chose to listen and take action

Then a pastors message on immorality
But on this I chose not to take action

Down the fly trap is where I went
The enemies trap he made me his pimp
I compromised my morals
I compromised myself
Imaginations and deceit
That came straight from hell

The one the advice came from, was so proud

Pride cometh before the fall it seems
But I wasn't proud of myself
I just wanted to scream

Scream in agony
Scream in pain
Scream at the devil
Scream at his games

But the one name I needed to scream
I locked away
Jesus has been waiting for me to call on His name

All this time I knew God could lead the way
But I was hiding from Him, in all of my shame

And then I was given a fly swatter
Let's swat the devil and make him falter
he is the lord of the flies, the lord of deceit

But through Jesus Christ,
I can have the victory

Through a time of prayer and Holy Spirit
Conviction, a message to me was given

Lord God is waiting
He is Waiting for me
To come to Him
Repent of my sins
And to be washed clean

I have trashed my sins,
I've thrown them away
I swatted the devil and told him
I am done playing his games

I ran to my prayer closet, so very fast
I repented and fell down on my knees
And in my cry, The Lord God
was there right beside me

He really had been waiting all of this time
He never left me and He never will

I was the one that wondered away
By listening to wrong advice
I was led astray

But No more, My Sins are washed away
The fly swatter is beside me
and I know how to keep the enemy away

The Lord God was waiting, but He is waiting no more, I have run to Him
I am safe in His open arms
There is no greater Love, Joy and Peace
Then being in The Father's presence and sitting at His feet

Let's keep our eyes on Jesus
And away from sin and temptation
For greater is He in me
Then the devil of this world

So Swat the devil and he will flee
Through Jesus Christ we all have victory
Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ
