Fowl Play
A farmer's child who was so mild
Played Chicken with a hen.
They both ran for an egg before
The other one, but then,
A fox came by who thought he'd try
To grab the tasty egg.
He ran real hard across the yard,
But fell and hurt his leg!
He fell on top. The egg went pop
And the boy and hen then cried,
"Our game is through because of you.
We hope you taste good fried!
