Maybe I Am The Goat
I’m sorry my ladies
I have not been my self
I’ve been preoccupied
I thought COPD
Is what was ailing me
I know I’m no doctor
Maybe I’m wrong saying
I have asbestosis
Thanks to My Uncle Sam
When I was in boot camp
I removed some floor tiles
On maintenance duty
Uncle Sam knew damn well
Of its blue asbestos
Yet they committed me
To their experiment
They were above the law
I know I can’t sue them
I can’t say “Lo hice”
Like Steve McQueen’s last words
But that’s ok with me
It has been a pleasure
Sharing with all of ya’ll
I’ll continue sharing
For as long as I can
May you all do the same
