Posture

Somehow in my adult years I
Began to slouch without
Awareness that would help me try
To figure that thing out.

While in the Air Force I was told,
"Roll both your shoulders back."
But maybe I was much too bold
To change and I lost track

Of what he tried to help me do.
And so through many years,
I learned what damage did come true;
Too late for all but tears.
