Exhortation Revised 4-27-2024

Jaded Peace 1980 (Murfreesboro Tennessee)

Gazing beyond the horizon, a renewal like never before,
The urge to reach for the stars, a notion to explore.
Like a sudden evening shower, hitting just right,
A gentle push in the direction of our flight.
Is it destined, this path we must take?
No time for delay, the stakes too great.
Whose future hangs in the balance, whose heart will ache?
Lessons learned, crystal clear in our wake,
Fragile surroundings, handle with care,
If we wish to succeed, we must be aware.
Ambitions tested, set aside for the next generation,
No better reason for stricter regulations.
When will it all make sense, where does it end?
No longer clueless, clarity to befriend.
Does this newfound awareness make the choice clear?
No one can predict, the outcome unclear.
In the end, no room for compromise,
Keep your eyes on the prize, no sacrifice, no compromise. In the realm of uncertainty,
a message of guidance, a lesson to store.
Reality at its core.
