Crucificatiom
To the Garden of Gethsemane, came the Gaurds,
Guided by Judas Iscariot, with spear and swords,
The one whom I kiss, is the one to be arrested,
He betrayed for thirty silver, as Jesus predicted.
The high priest "I adjure you, by the Living God,
Tell us, are you the Anointed , the Son of God?
You have said it, and in time you will see the Son, On the right hand of the Almighty, In clouds of Heaven.
For blasphemy, the high priest condemned,
The Sanhedrin concurred with sentence of death,
Peter had denied, Jesus thrice, on the courtyard,
As professed at last supper by the heavenly Lord
Jesus was stripped, his own cross he carried,
behind him, men women and children rallied,
each step hard, so weak he was, people pittied
The crown of throns on him, bloodied.
My lord was crucified, between two thieves,
he had no strength, his speech even fails,
withered outside, but strong in his believes,
The cross, was blessed, so were the nails.
He then spoke out his last words, before adieu,
father firgive them, they know not what they do,
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me,
I thirst, he said, sponge dipped in sour wine they gave.
There he lay on cross for full six hours,
head dripped, for all the sins of ours,
His soul had long departed, Mankinds shame,
He ascended the heavenly throne, in full fame.
Oh Lord, bless us all, please forgive our past,
cleaneth our sins, for your kingdom shall everlast.
