Separation

Our love was a sin from the beginning,
A foolish mistake which ended without any meaning...
I can see you drifting away from me ever so slightly, painfully I wait for our end which was destined from the start
It hurts to admit that I’m losing you but keeping you in my heart will only destroy me forever
I know it’s wrong of me to wish that you cared, that maybe somewhere deep in your heart there still lived a burning flame of passion that could only be fueled by our love, it’s a selfish thought I know but I can’t help  the pain I feel everyday when I think of the love we once shared was never mine, an unrequited love which was released from my side but never received from your end
Your love is like broken glass...it only hurts more when I try to hold on to it
Believe me I wish we could have worked out but when my love became a broken heart and all my dreams wilted away...in the end only fate drew the last card.
