Eyes Wide Shut

Sometimes.
I find.

To pass the time.
I close my eyes.

In my head.
The universe unwinds.

Swirling, twirling, whirling.
explosions of color?

I Can't describe.
The images of electric light.

Something however.
Just feels right.

From somewhere deep within.
To the surface

it starts to flow in
Seems to stop where it begins

This unversal
cosmic flow.

I clearly see
Some things hidden from me

Years gone by outside.
The Images only intensify.

No sense of time.
In my mind.

Just me and myself.
I alone find my rhyme.

Unable to escape.
I embrace this visual landscape.

What it means.
I do not know.

These images.
My soul shall keep.

There has got to be
 benefits to reap.

From this place.
That is not quite the sleep.
