(The Night of Regret)

"Daren Nadama" (A Night of Regret)

A journey blind I tread, a foray, whence a whispered spark
Ignited a firestorm that ravaged my heart
A maelstrom of passion, a hurricane's roar
Consumed my senses, leaving reason poor

Like a lost traveler in a moonless land
I wandered, tormented by the ghosts of my hand
The weight of regret, a boulder I now bear
For the petals of trust I trampled, beyond repair

Her garden of innocence, once pure and serene
Now lay ravaged, like a storm-tossed scene
Her purity, a delicate flower I had vowed
To nurture and protect, but instead, allowed

To wither beneath my touch, like a summer's breeze
That scatters petals, leaving only memories
Of the fragrance lost, the beauty I defaced
A reflection of the love I could not embrace

In the hollow silence of that deserted place
I wept and wailed, a lament of sorrow and disgrace
For the love and respect I had compromised
And the innocence I had callously divided

Like a river that flows, yet never returns
I lost my way, in the depths of my own concerns
May this night of regret, a lesson teach
To cherish the trust, and the love we reach

Daren Nadama, a fright that weakens heart,
Hours that make one boisterous soul sobber,
Bereft were the cascading words
That now seemed to be like a disastrous drought
That cloaks the blossoming petals

Oh, Allah! Oh Pyar!!
Oh, Hibba!  Habybtee, Sultanatiil ruh,
Forgive my imperfect imperfections
My fallible fallibility,
Love me till eternity cease existing,
And seek refuge from Allah against
The craziness that shelters my lunatic heart
