Lie Less To Me

Leave me.
To lie less to me.
Lie less to me.
And leave me be.

I believed every word you said.
With a defending you.
As I thought of you would do that for me.
When it was said I was a fool.
Refusing to believe,
Your lieing was a habit.
And your ability to use me,
I made it easier to do it.
Until I discovered others knew this.

Leave me to lie less to me.
I have had it with your deceiving ways.
Today I find myself,
Still defending your honesty.
An honesty you never had.
You had me to believe,
We were closer than that.
But you decided,
To trick and stab me in the back.
Then laugh.

Leave me to lie less.
Since being deceived,
Has left me to accept...
You to be the fool.
And me blessed to know,
People like you who choose to disrespect.
I can forgive them for what they do.
But I can not teach them,
A doing unto others...
That should not be done.
Never do it.
Because consequences to pay,
Will in some way be paid done to come.

Leave me to lie less.
To know I am not bitter.
Although some,
May not feel that way.
Forgiving to forget being betrayed!
By someone they thought to believe,
Had been a friend to defend.
And me?
I rather have you leave.
Than keep me reminded of my stupidity!
