Hope is your beautiful face
Rising on my horizon
Expanding my vision and joy
As luminous exhilaration
Excitement blossoms as
Flowers who open their petals
Waiting for your eyes
To touch me
Even if only as a glance
And slowly growing
Into a full fledged gaze.

Hope is you saying hello to me
A distant star burning bright
Or the glow of the Moon
Turning my soul
Into your selenophile
Everything you say
Resonates like ripples
In a perfect pond
Your reflection
Mirrors the stars in Heaven
A cosmic collaboration
You are a beautiful universe.

Yes, hope is your lovely face
I see in the morning
Held close in my thoughts
Embraced with gratitude
I even get to see you
For moments like you
Come in my life as miracles
I welcome the day
As a friend because of you
Dreaming of your touch
Your embrace
Your kiss
As the best gift
In your arms
Without leaving mine.
