God’s Promise
sitting on my patio
one summer afternoon
my eyes get the privilege
to see a symbolic rainbow
after a sun shower
Red
to be fruitful and multiply
Orange
to pursue and follow your dreams
Yellow
to be happy and humble
Green
to love and respect all nature
Blue
to have courage in the face of fear
Indigo
to gain wisdom and knowledge
Violet
to deepen your spiritual and religious practice
the Lords massages are all around us
if you see it with your heart
and not just your eyes
only than you will see
the full extent of God’s love
next time you see a rainbow
remember God’s promise
and to say thank you for reminding me
About this poem
