Ben and Me

Just after the midnight rain,
you took me to the park
pushed me on the swings

Hanging
            Deserted
and damp

You,my secret moonlight friend,
me, a carefree child again
B r e e z i n g through Blackness
This time Unafraid.....

               You were my eyes.

This was one of my pinned poems for the April contest. Just way to let you know I appreciated the imagery behind this piece—reminds me how Imagist poets like Amy Lowell and Hilda Doolittle write.

Very creative piece. Thanks for sharing.
