BOOMING WHISPER

BOOMING WHISPER

When a whisper echoes with a boom
When Hope announces your doom
When tears break forth into true glee
My chains broke and now I am free

Darkest night shines the brightest Light
Peace with God though the world may fight
And I'll count all else as an eternal loss
To stand here and preach the Cross

Tell me I'm a fool, brah I'll just laugh
I'm free from sin, hate, or wrath
Watch as the blind are crushed by pride
I'll preach as the world comes to decide

Because a mouse can make a giant fall
A whisper can become a nation's call
And a broken sinner can be made whole
And preach in boldness as the Spirit flow

Let me tell you a story of death and despair
As defeat weighs heavy, chocking the air
But at the darkest the chosen shall pray
And just watch as the stones all roll away!

I believe! In my weakness God is strong!
I believe! I'm made new and don't belong,
To this world that revels in hate and Gloom
I believe a whisper becomes a sonic boom!

So I call to the broken and the weak
If you must whisper be sure you speak!
For God promise His Word is never void
Preach in the Power Jesus employed

Because Faith makes fools of the wise
And the Light, blinds the world's eyes
Because the right whisper will rock a nation
And the Resurrection brings Salvation
AMEN

About this poem

By his breath the skies became fair; his hand pierced the gliding serpent. And these are but the outer fringe of his works; how faint the whisper we hear of him! Who then can understand the thunder of his power?” JOB 26:13-14
