Daddy wait

Daddy wait I need you to stay.  Don’t close your eyes daddy Don’t give up this way. I know it’s selfish of me I know you’re in so much pain. I beg God to give us just a few more days.

I ask God to touch you and heal you of your pain.  I need you more than God does please stay awake.

I know you’re strong and holding on for me. While I am weak and ready to weep.  I ask God to give me your strength and allow you to go.  How do I let go of the first man to ever love me so?. The first man who always had my back. The first man to hold my hand. The first man to hold me close. It’s not easy to let you go.

Follow the light. I promise, I’ll be alright.

it wasn’t a personal loss. A friend asked me to write about her loss. Thank you.

I am moved to tears. My dad passed of a massive heart attack in 2003. It is very difficult losing an important person such as a parent. It can make or break you or break then make you.
