The first snowflake of Christmas Eve.
A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)
My first snowflake.
As the first snowflakes falls, I see an endless beauty of white. I can see the magic skating on the frozen lake or sticking out my tongue to catch the falling flake. The forest floor is frozen, and it's freezing. The trees were their coats of white. I can hear the whistling wind as it wears a scarf around its throat. But do not worry about all my blizzards and storms; I have my own internal flame. That always keeps me nice and warm through all the winter storms.
