Waiting on a Sneeze to Sort Me Out

the sound & steam & slash of my piss cutting through fresh snow…
I throw my head back,
grooaan
& let the gods gently kiss my forehead

mesmerized by strange flames
I am frozen

directly above me is the great conjunction of Jupiter & Saturn
smoochin’ it up after 800 years
I smile & feel sick to my pit
mere moments from expelling more hot humor onto this cold white canvas…
but then!
a holy sign!
a gift divine!
my body erupts with a rich, deep, double-sneeze

I am ruptured & equal to god

I zip-up & venture back to the warmth of a wood fire
comforted by the click/clack of the door latch
