a day of life
Through the trees I see the mist of dawn
The beginning of a new day
A gift of life is one more chance
To look up and say
One more day has been given me
To make my wrongs all right
I shall spend this day were it my last
Charish with all my might
When the dusk comes
And the day is done
I will look upon those trees
And pray to see the mist of dawn
Through those trees I see
